This was undertaken to provide medication to ensure that children are brought out of acute malnutrition. Apart from this, she also mentioned that other schemes were also being implemented to enhance the health of the malnourished children as well as their mothers.

In other developments, in the Ideal Mumbai Public Health Manifesto, put together by several initiatives, it was brought to light that in the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) scheme, in 2019-20, 2,53,928 children were screened at Anganwadis. In the manifesto, it is further mentioned that for 2020-21 in an RTI reply that they received, zero children were screened during the coronavirus pandemic.
