Mumbai -Beware if you are using L’Oréal or Nivea cosmetics, they might be fake. Yes, you heard it right. Food and Drugs Administration carried out a raid and seized 2 lakhs and 40 thousand worth fake cosmetics from SoBo. “We got the tip that few cosmetic sellers in Mumbai package and sell international cosmetics. Under the guidance of joint commissioner, we created three squads and carried out the raid. Initially, we carried out a raid at Crawford market and seized the machinery which was used to create such fake cosmetics. There we got to know about seller Pravin Bhilla and we carried out a raid on his shop at Bhuleshwar and later we busted his godown as well,” said Dr. Harshdip Kamble, FDA commissioner. He further added that products which were seized were mostly L’Oréal, Lakme, Fair and Lovely and Nivea.
