After the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) announced the declaration of its lottery winners for the Konkan Board flats in January, now the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced that it will issue lottery for its 1100 flats in January 2019.
A senior CIDCO official told Mumbai Live about its announcement of the lottery and a senior authority backed the announcement.
On October 2, the housing scheme by CIDCO will welcome applications for 14,838 houses, was initiated. However, 1100 houses did not receive any response during the declaration due to which, CIDCO has decided to issue lottery for the 1100 houses.
This year CIDCO has approved its initiative to organise an independent lottery allotment system and therefore, the authority will receive a quick response in dealing the 1100 houses. The advertisement for the same will be issued in January 2019.
The flats from Taloja, Dronagiri, Kharghar, Ghansoli, and Kalamboli will be listed for the lottery. The construction for the houses in ongoing under the guidance of CIDCO but it is expected that the houses will be ready within two years.
