Churchgate - In order to keep the railways platforms clean, Indian railways have started a scheme to clean the garbage stacked up all over the platforms.
Mumbailive found out that churchgate station is teeming with waste, dirt and filth all over. Stains of betel juice can be seen on the stairs and walls courtesy 'paan-lovers'.
None of the railway officers has taken any step to get this clean. When asked Railway PRO Gajanan Mhaputkar about this grunge, he passed the buck saying the department doesn't come under his aegis. We hope some railway officer will take the initiative seriously.
