Demand to cancel draw for mill workers flats

Mumbai – The Girni Kamgar Karmachari Nivara ani Kalyankari Sangh has demanded cancellation of the draw of lottery for mill workers flats which is scheduled to be held at Rang Sharda in Bandra on December 2. The mill workers body has written a letter to chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in this regard. It has been alleged that draw is being organized by setting aside the committee appointed by the government on the direction of the high court. As the draw is to be taken out without screening the applications, there is a high possibility of corruption in this process, alleged Chetna Raut. The Sangh has threatened to stage agitation if their demands are not fulfilled.
