Mumbai - Making passenger safety the focus of the next phase of its operation, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) is gearing up to run driverless trains on Metro3 line stretching across Colaba-Bandra-Seepz.
The information was provided by Ashwini Bhide, Managing Director MMRC. Meanwhile, metros in Mumbai are driven by the metro man, but Metro3 will not require train operators to operate the trains.
