Bhandup - Huge footfall of senior citizens has made railway authorities to construct escalator on Bhandup station to make it easier for them to alight and disembark on the platform. The installation work of escalator has started from past two months and is in it's final phase of completion. "Electric connection and technical adjustments have to be done", informed Bhandup - Kanjurmarg passenger railway association President Prashant Kadam.
