Lower Parel residents face potable water crisis

Mumbai – People living in the Pardiwala Chawl, Chinoy Chawl, Chandiwala Chawl and adjoining areas on Sitaram Jadhav Road in Lower Parel are facing an acute potable water shortage. A complaint in this regard has been made to the civic officials. Local MLA Sunil Shinde took BMC officers along with him and inspected the area. He assured residents that their problems would be solved at the earliest. The area has been receiving contaminated water supply for several months, say locals, and the problem begs an urgent resolution.
