Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will soon announce the lottery for 217 houses located in Chembur and Powai.

Apart from that, MHADA informed on Sunday that they will organise the e-auction of 276 outlets. Most of the outlets are in Mumbai while a few of them are in Virar and Vengurla.

April 21 has been proposed as the date to release the lottery for the 217 houses, whereas the e-auction of the shops will be on April 8. Earlier in December 2018, MHADA’s Mumbai Board had organised the lottery for 1,384 houses for which it received more than 1.64 lakh applications.

However, MHADA will declare the lottery for 217 houses which is the lowest in a decade. Of the 217 houses, 47 houses are for Middle Income Group (MIG) while the rest are for Lower Income Group (LIG).
