Mumbai- MHADA denied flats to 84 transits making them homeless. They spent 34 years as a transit in a hope of getting a house from MHADA but latter acted otherwise. When these residents went to MHADA to complete the procedure of their homes, which they were supposed to get in May-June 2016 were shocked to know that their homes were allotted to Metro 3 affected people. 84 families were promised homes at Shripat Tower of Pimpalwadi. Apparently, MHADA has given false promises to these families that they will be given homes elsewhere.
