Work on metro troubles Buffaloes in Aarey

Construction of carshed under Metro-3 is in progress in unit number - 19 located in Aarey, Goregaon. Despite strong opposition from environmentalists and residents, the work is in progress. There is a dairy farm near the construction site. The dairy farm houses 600 buffaloes. Loud noise due to construction has caused fear among buffaloes. This has affected the milk business.

Dairy farm owner I J Singh told Mumbai Live,"to and fro of trucks and heavy vehicles has increased. Huge machines are deployed at work for drilling purpose. The rigorous sound has caused a problem for the buffaloes. Due to which buffaloes have stopped eating and drinking. Consequently affecting the productivity. If this continues in the same manner who will be responsible for the loss which I am bearing?
