MMRDA issues warning against current-carrying towers in Magathane area on July 1

MMRDA has issued an order that no construction, plantation or any kind of programme should be held on July 1 around the area of the Metro Line 7 construction.

Under the construction work of Metro line 7, four monopole towers will be erected in the Magathane area near Western Express Highway. An electric current of 220 KV will be passed through these towers on July 1. 

Hence the operator of Metro Line 7, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), has advised people living in this area to be extra careful for the same.

MMRDA has issued an order that no construction, plantation or any kind of programme should be held on July 1 around the area of construction. Along with this, the order has also been issued to the citizens to take special precautions on the day to avert any mishaps.

Four high tech electric towers located in the western region of the Western Express Highway, namely AP 02-03-04 and 05 with a capacity of 220 KV each have been transferred for the construction work of Metro Line 7 from Andheri East to Dahisar East.
