Mill workers who won the lottery of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) houses situated in Panvel, Mauje-Kon, have still not passed the eligibility test but will be getting help from Maharashtra Housing And Development Authority’s (MHADA) Mumbai Board.
MHADA will be organising a four-day camp where mill workers will be made to fill forms and will be made eligible from Monday, October 8, 2018.
The camp would take place at Samaj Mandir Hall, which is opposite MIG Club in Bandra between October 8 and October 12 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

It is not possible for MHADA to provide houses to 1.48 lakh mill workers, hence, the state government decided to provide 50 per cent houses of MMRDA to mill workers. Likewise, on December 2, 2016, the lottery was released for 2417 houses situated in Panvel, Mauje. The lottery was released two years ago yet, the winners have not got the possession as they have been termed ineligible.
