MMRDA permitted to demolish structures at Indu Mill

Mumbai – The bhoomipujan of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial at Indu Mill was done at the hands of prime minister Narendra Modi on October 11, 2015. The opposition parties were criticising the government as the memorial construction work had not gathered speed. Taking note of this, MP Kirit Somaiya took an initiative following which the Textile Corporation has permitted the MMRDA to demolish structures at the Indu Mill. This will clear the way for speedy construction of the memorial.
