Wonders Park at Nerul is a landmark in the city of Navi Mumbai and is an important sightseeing spot for the elderly in the areas of Uran, Panvel, Thane Mumbai along with the city of Navi Mumbai. The park, which is the centre of attraction for all, has been arranged for the newly launched attractive rides, fountains and laser shows. Finally, the Navi Mumbai Municipal administration has informed that Wonders Park will be inaugurated in the evening on Tuesday in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and other dignitaries. Even after the completion of the makeover of the park, there was a delay in the inauguration, as per the report by Loksatta. 


The park was closed to the general public for more than 3 years since the coronavirus. Therefore, the parents along with the children who had school holidays were eager to know when this park would start. The municipal administration was trying to inaugurate the park on May 1st by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.

Exciting toys in the park, amphitheatre with replicas of Seven Wonders of the World, attractive ponds, spacious play areas, including newly designed musical fountains with laser shows, audio visual systems, renovation of ponds, improvement of walkways, new play equipment and replacement of rubber mats under the toys.

Wonders Park has been given a complete makeover at a cost of more than INR 27 crores, installation of CCTV cameras at all places, installation of biometric machines at the entrance, installation of new electric lights. So everyone was curious about this park. The ceremony will be held today in the presence of the Chief Minister, dignitaries and many local people's representatives. Senior Police Inspector of local Nerul Police Station Tanaji Bhagat also informed that the inauguration will be done by the Chief Minister.
