Mumbai- Don't be surprised if you see a rating machine in BMC toilets. These are installed by the BMC to maintain the hygiene in the civic toilets. This machine will enable passengers to rate the toilet according to its cleanliness. "This machine will have three options namely clean, ok and dirty. We will calculate the ratings and will take action if the toilet is found dirty," said A ward’s assistant commissioner Kiran Dighavkar.

Currently, the first rating machine is installed in a toilet opposite to the Bhatia garden of CST. In coming months, rating machines will be installed in other civic toilets.
