Residents protest against BMC

Residents of Bhagat Singh Nagar and Lakshmi Nagar protested outside P/South Ward office on Thursday. BMC officers have assured them of flats in Chembur and Vashi through the lottery system. Nullah broadening is the primary reason why the residents are being shifted to the different place.

Residents have demanded that they want the home in Goregaon. Supporting the protest were Former Shiv Sena Corporator Dilip Shinde, Raju Padhye and Parmila Dilip Shinde. Residents have made it very loud and clear that until Mayor and BMC Commissioner resolve the problem, lottery system process for shifting must not be green signalled.

Former Corporator came forward to help the residents and raised her voice against the corporation stating that we are not against the decision of nullah broadening, but the residents must be allotted flats in between Dahisar – Goregaon.
