Goregaon - BMC has dug up a pit in order to construct a toilet yet no toilet has been constructed. This is creating problems to the residents as men and women have to use same toilet. For the last 4.5 years, water used to come on roads from septic tank and so BMC demolished and started building new one. But still it is incomplete. This has created foul smell in the area. “The pit is open and so this is dangerous for the residents as anyone can fall in to the pit,” complained Gaurav Rane, congress Zilla secretary. Along with this corporator Pramila Shinde said that, “We are going to construct two-storey toilet here but one hutment is coming in the way of construction and so the work is stalled”.
