Indeed the city is infectious, lakhs of people aboard the train from their native town in order to fulfil their dreams in Mumbai. Is this the very reason that Mumbai has been ranked as the second most crowded city in the world as per UN's habitat data? This is a fact and World Economic Forum (WEF) has cited the data ranking Mumbai the second most crowded city in the list which is topped by Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.
Dhaka has the population density of 44,500 people per square kilometre. While Mumbai has 31,700 people per square kilometre. Not only Mumbai, but there is one more city from India which has been included in the list. Kota, Rajasthan stands in seventh place with the population density of 12,100 people per square kilometre.
