Mumbai live recently got into an exclusive conversation with Smruti Panchal first runner-up of Mrs.Bharat Icon where she spoke about the contest, life and much more. Smruti has pursued a degree from JJ Institute of Applied Art Mumbai. She stays in the USA and is a master of Vastushastra and Fengshui by profession. She has done many shows as a Fengshui master and has also received Maharashtra Gaurav Pooraskar in 2004 and Fengshui excellence award in 2006.
In the USA, Smruti was not satisfied with the work she was doing and wanted to try her hands on something new, so when she visited India during her son’s vacation she decided to participate in Mrs. Bharat Icon.
This beautiful woman is an inspiration to all the common women who dream of living big, “Even after achieving many things in life I used to feel very depressed at home in the USA as my son used to be tied up with his studies and my husband with his business. One day my husband came to me and said that I should participate in this beauty contest. It was because of his assistance and motivation I was able to clear all the rounds” says Smruti.
Smruti is a very adventurous person; she loves exploring new places and also enjoys partying hard. Her favorite past time hobby is doing plantation.
When asked about her mental and physical preparation for the contest she mentioned, “I go to the gym regularly other than that I practice ramp walk at home, also watch fashion shows in order to get an idea of the question and answer session during the pageant. I also enjoy reading fashion magazines.”
She further elaborated, “Before marriage, I never thought of taking up modeling as a career. After getting married my husband encouraged me to go for it and now after Mrs. Bharat Icon I have also applied for Mrs. India and Mrs. Earth pageant. My aspiration is to apply for Mrs. Universe in one or two years.”
Smruti has cleared the pageant rounds for Mrs. India and Mrs. Earth pageant and has got selected for the competition.
Finally giving a message to all the women readers Smruti says, “Every single woman has something ‘Best’ in her, only she needs to do is to recognize the ‘Best’. There is nothing as such ki shaadi ho gayi, bacche ho gaye toh khatam ho gaya sab, if you can achieve confidence then you can do wonders”.
