MTV’s call out for India’s biggest Hip-Hop star is out and loud. After producing many original youth-related shows successfully, the channel is now ready to present MTV Hustle, the first of a kind reality show for rappers. Ace Rapper Raftaar will be seen leading the pack in the show which will offer the stage for a number of budding rappers and untapped talents from India. Joining him will be Nucleya and Rajakumari as judges who will debut with the show, starting August 2019.

Raftaar, Nucleya, and Rajakumari are set to turn mentors for these aspiring rappers who will undergo rigorous training and grueling face-offs to emerge as the best.

Talking about the same, Raftaar said, “Nothing makes me happier than music so I am superbly thrilled to be a part of MTV Hustle. Rap has forayed into the mainstream music scene and is not confined to the streets anymore. A show like Hustle will further open the floodgates for untapped talents in the country who are waiting to be heard. Its high time we have a platform for artists who are trying to give India a new voice to express, impress and narrate stories. I am looking forward to a wonderful experience as a judge and mentor to these aspiring rappers”.

Nucleya who will be seen as a pivotal part in the show, shares, “Rap has enabled artists to push boundaries in music and express themselves to the best of their creative finesse. I am delighted to be a part of a concept like MTV Hustle that sets the stage for undiscovered talents to excel in the genre. This is one reality show India truly needs. It’s also my debut on national television which heightens the excitement further. I hope to be of value to the contestants as a mentor and musician and inspire them to perform better.”

Rap rebellion has ushered in a new generation of artists in India and Hustle aims to provide a platform to these voices to narrate their stories. Besides mentoring, Raftaar will also create an exclusive music track for the show.
