Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address nearly five lakh women at a grand pavilion at the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport project site on January 12. Due to the inauguration ceremony of various government projects by Prime Minister Modi in this program, there will be tight security arrangements of Navi Mumbai Police.


The Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner has planned to deploy more than 4000 police personnel for the successful and safe conduct of the ceremony in the keynote presence of the Prime Minister of the country. A large number of women policemen will participate in this.


Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Milind Bharambe has held meetings with senior police officials to ensure that there is no laxity in security during Prime Minister Modi's event. Arrangements are likely to be made in advance for the event to be held on January 12 at the grand pavilion on the grounds of the International Airport Project in Ulwe.

Police raids have started on Ladies Service Bars which have been running in Navi Mumbai and Panvel breaking the time limit for the last two days. Bangladeshi citizens living illegally have been arrested by the police. A grand pavilion of six and a half lakh square feet has been built at the International Airport Project site and there are four different entrances to enter the pavilion. There will be strict police surveillance.


There are separate entrances for common people and dignitaries to reach the pavilion. The police will keep a close watch on the parking lot where 1200 buses will be parked.
