Kandivali- Congress corporator Geeta Yadav from Ekta Nagar, ward 28 with her ward heads organised a cleanliness drive of sorts in her ward by placing dustbins at various places in the area and advocating the separation dry and wet garbage.
Yadav seems to be in a hurry to complete all her pending works in her ward before the announcement of the election code of conduct. She added that people from her ward are residing in slums, and it is necessary to keep the surroundings clean. Yadav also requested people not to litter on the premises and to make use of dustbins instead. For now, Yadav hopes the bigger bins will do the job and that people will keep their surroundings as clean as they keep their houses.
