Congress took out on a padyatra (walk) on Friday 2nd sept. at 4.00 p.m in Ghatkopar. The padyatra was carried out under Mumbai's Congress President Sanjay Nirupam's guidance. Corporator Pravin Chheda led the padyatra from Ramabhai Colony that will end in Kamraj nagar.. The padyatra was organised to protest against the BJP- Shiv sena alliance. As the BMC elections are scheduled for the next year, the temperature is soaring across the political ground. Congress brought up many civic issues like corruption, BMC's negligence, worsening condition of Mumbaikars because of bad roads,improper civic facilities, etc.
