After the last and fourth phase of 2019 Lok Sabha elections ends in Maharashtra on April 29, the top leaders from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will campaign in Uttar Pradesh. 

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state Education minister Vinod Tawde, Raj Purohit, and others will campaign in Jaunpur, Machhali Shahar, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, and Purvanchal along with Varanasi which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency.

Of the 48 seats in Maharashtra, the voting has been done on 31 constituencies while the polling on 17 seats remains. In Maharashtra, especially in and around Mumbai, people from north Indian states reside in huge numbers. The Hindi-speaking leaders in the state will also be campaigning in UP.

North Indian leaders in Maharashtra including BJP leaders Amarjeet Mishra, RN Singh, Congress MLA Naseem Khan, Kripashankar Singh will campaign in UP. With their strong recognition, the concerned political parties may be benefited.
