Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been self-quarantined at his residence as a preventive measure. He was tested negative for the coronavirus earlier but has been home quarantined after feeling unwell.

However, according to some media reports, his COVID-19 swab test results have come positive. All his meetings since yesterday have been cancelled. The official Twitter handle of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) shared that Ajit Pawar will remain unavailable to meet office bears at Mumbai office due to unavoidable reasons.

Pawar was on his three-days visit to Solapur district to take stock of the flood-affected areas and felt fatigued after coming back. His test results came negative but he decided to self-quarantine. The Deputy CM will remain available for meetings via video conference only.
