The digitisation of enumeration forms received under the Election Commission of India’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has been completed, with the draft voter lists scheduled to be published on August 24, 2026.

The SIR exercise was conducted from June 30 to August 17, during which voters were required to submit enumeration forms containing the necessary information to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for verification and digitisation.

In the 150-Airoli Assembly constituency, 2,78,228 enumeration forms have been submitted and digitised out of a total electorate of 4,97,380 as of August 17.

Similarly, in the 151-Belapur Assembly constituency, 2,56,986 forms have been received and digitised out of 4,22,317 registered voters. Following the completion of the form-collection and digitisation process, the draft electoral rolls will be released on August 24.

Voters have been urged to check whether their names appear in the draft rolls by contacting their respective BLOs or by visiting the Election Commission’s National Voter Service Portal online.

If a voter finds that their name has been omitted from the draft list, or wishes to raise an objection regarding the inclusion of another person’s name, claims and objections can be submitted to the Electoral Registration Officers between August 24 and September 23, 2026.

The period for disposing of these claims and objections will run from August 24 to October 22, after which the final electoral rolls will be published on October 27, 2026.

Officials said the SIR exercise is aimed at ensuring greater accuracy, transparency and up-to-date electoral rolls. The objective is to ensure that no eligible voter is excluded while preventing the inclusion of ineligible voters.
