Akhil Chitre resigns as MNS vice-president
Mumbai – MNS vice president Akhil Chitre has resigned from his post asVice President but he still remains loyal to MNS.
Akhil was keen to contest from Bandra’s ward no. 95 but the ticket was given to Suman Tari. The latter was in Shiv Sena but joined the MNS a few years back. Upset Akhil alleged that she did not do anything for the ward but got the ticket just by paying moolah. At the same time, he clarified that though he resigned he will be loyal to MNS.
Meanwhile, when Mumbai Live contacted MNS corporator Sandeep Deshpande, he said that Akhil is a loyal party worker and will try and pacify him.
