The Lok Sabha 2019 elections have seen involvement from every person in the country. While some of the people were merely involved in the elections through social media, some of them have actively participated in verbal discussions (read arguments). However, the most invested person throughout the election season was Republic TV anchor, Arnab Goswami.

The ecstatic Republic TV news anchor and managing editor, has been a keen observer of the political scenario in the country and has been seen screaming on the top of his voice to calmly present his point.

On one such occasion, on May 23, while announcing the leads on air, Goswami mistakenly referred to Sunny Deol as Sunny Leone. Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is contesting the Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket from Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab.

Meanwhile, as the 'politician Sunny' was leading from his constituency, a visibly over the moon Arnab went on to announce about the same. However, in an attempt to be the first to reveal Sunny's lead, he got the surname wrong and referred to Sunny Deol as Sunny Leone.

After a while, Goswami quickly corrected himself, but the slip did not go unnoticed as Sunny Leone tweeted asking the margin by which she was leading.
