Mumbai - MNS walked over Vidarbha Rajya Samiti who held a press conference at the press club. MNS Chitrapat Sena’s president Ameya Khopkar, BMC’s MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande, corporator Santosh Dhuri & ward president Shashank Nagvekar started shouting slogans against Indian Agro- Economist & activist for Vidarbha. MNS gheraoed the members of Vidarbha Rajya Samiti and asked them to back out. Seeing no reaction from the members, MNS workers created chaos by throwing tables and chairs. This drama was on for 10 minutes till police interrupted.
Post the drama, Vidarbha Rajya Andolan Samiti’s leader Vamanrao Chatap alleged that BJP did not keep their promise regarding 'Separate Vidarbha' issue. “We will set up mock Vidarbha Assembly on 3rd & 4th October at Nagpur. Along with this, on 5th December awareness rally will be organized and on 31st December we will give a final ultimatum to State Government to act on their promise” said Chatap.
