Bandra - BJP boycotted BMC's Ideal Teacher's Award ceremony. This programme was held at Deenanath Mangesh Theatre. This was done following the letter which was given by mayor Snehal Ambekar to CM. Enraged with her move, BJP boycotted the ceremony. This ceremony was attended by state housing minister Ravindra Waikar, mayor Snehal Ambekar, MP Anil Desai. However, invites were sent to MP Poonam Mahajan, MP Parag Alwani, deputy mayor Alka Kerkar but nobody turned up.
