Bhandup - Re-allocation of BMC draw has upset many corporators. In Bhandup earlier there were 13 blocks, but in the draw, the strength of a total ward has been increased by 1 and now total count of the block is 14. Out of 14 blocks, 10 is reserved for female candidates. For Corporators Ramesh Korgavkar, Rupesh Vaigankar, Tavji Gorule, Dhanjay Pisal , Mangesh Pawar & Ashok Patil this draw was a bolt from the blue. Block 117 & 119 - Female OBC candidate, Block NO. 121 - Female ST candidate other than these three, rest seven ward belongs to General women candidates.
