Bogus voters: Sena workers stage protest at Dharavi

Dharavi - Shiv Sena workers staged a protest at the office of the Naib Tehsildar here on Wednesday alleging that the Dharavi Assembly segment’s election officer has accepted the voter registration forms with fake documents. Sena workers including Upvibhagpramukh Muttu Tevar and corporator Rajendra Suryavanshi also demanded action against the officer. It is being alleged that people from other states have submitted fake documents to get their names registered in the voters’ lists in this Assembly segment. Meanwhile, Naib Tehsildar Neha Chavan has assured of a probe in this connection.
