Cable operators and workers from all across Maharashtra on Monday met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray at Krishnakunj to discuss the problems that they are facing because of Reliance Jio.

Reliance is taking over broadband services in the market through ‘Giga Fiber’. Along with broadband services, the customers also get IPTV, Landline, Video Conferencing, and Virtual Reality services after they subscribe to Jio’s ‘Giga Fiber’.

With its ‘Jio Sim Network’, Reliance Jio gave a tough competition to its opponents. For this same reason, the local operators are afraid that Reliance Jio will take over their market share too. Almost 400 cable operators expressed their sorrow to the MNS chief in Krishnakunj as Reliance launched its ‘Giga Fiber’ scheme.

To this, Thackeray told them to not worry and assured the cable operators that they won’t be affected because of this. As this happened, MNS has warned Reliance to not hamper the business of local cable operators.
