Mumbai- State revenue minister Chandrakant Patil has been formally elevated as number two in the Maharashtra cabinet. He has replaced finance minister Sudhir Munganitwar who was scheduled to take over the place. Initially, Eknath Khadse was going to be in Patil's place but post his resignation, Munganitwar was decided. However, final decision startled all when Chandrakant Dada Patil was chosen over Mungantiwar.
