On Saturday morning, CM Fadnavis’ chopper had to be force-landed in Nashik immediately after taking-off because of overloading. He was heading to Aurangabad. After the CM’s cook got off, the chopper took off.

Fadnavis was accompanied by his personal secretary, water resources minister Girish Mahajan and his cook, Satish.

The other night Fadnavis was in Nashik and on Saturday around 10:00 am, he had to fly to Aurangabad. But as there were too many passengers, the pilot could not take the chopper to the required altitude. After the cook alighted, the pilot took off the chopper.

This is not happening for the first time though. In May, a state-owned helicopter crash-landed at Nilanga after an immediate take off, luckily no one was injured. In the same month, due to a technical snag, he had to cancel his helicopter ride which was scheduled from Gadchiroli to Mumbai.
