Nariman Point - “CM Devendra Fadnavis is fooling the Maratha community on the pretext of giving reservation,” alleged congress leader Narayan Rane as he demanded Maharashtra CM to resign from his post. Saying this, Rane said that CM has made a double speak regarding the time element on this issue. The government had sought a time frame for a decision on Maratha reservation in the court, which is evident from the court order too. However, CM had denied the same. Rane was speaking in a press conference organised at the MPCC office here.
He added that if CM wanted to give the reservation he would have done it earlier. He added that since 2014, the state government has not given the affidavit. "We will bring a no-confidence motion against the CM," cautioned Rane.
He also targeted guardian minister Girish Mahajan holding him responsible for the Nashik’s protest. Rane further added that CM is appointing thugs in BJP and is running the state with 14 corrupt ministers whom he gives a clean chit.
