Mumbai - Who is Kirit Somaiya? People may know this name but not an established political leader and a public representative does not know him, at least he claims so with an intention to ignore him. This public representative is Yashodhar Phanse who is chairman of BMC standing committee. Phanse was in the Mumbai Live office to participate in its initiative ‘Ungli Uthao’ on Wednesday. He said that it is people’s misconception that the BMC standing committee is the place where vested interests of corporators are taken care of. The BMC administrative prepared ninety development proposals in the name of election code of conduct. We had no other way than to pass these proposals. Shiv Sena is committed to work for the welfare of Marathi people and to increase their footprints in different walks of life in Mumbai. He appealed people not to hold the BMC responsible for the bad condition of roads in the city and claimed that he is working to make Mumbai roads potholes-free.
