Preparations for the meeting of the INDIA Grand Alliance of 27 parties that have united against the BJP in the country on August 31 have picked up speed. The host Uddhav Thackeray group sent invitations to 27 party leaders on Thursday. AAP chiefs have also been invited.


MP Sanjay Raut has expressed his belief that Congress and AAP will contest the Lok Sabha elections together in Delhi. The first meeting of the Grand Alliance was organised by the United Janata Dal of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna, while the second meeting was organised by the Congress in Bangalore. The host of the third meeting in Mumbai has been given to the Shiv Sena's Thackeray faction, the main constituent party in this alliance.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leader Rahul Gandhi, RJD's Lalu Prasad Yadav, United Janata Dal's Nitish Kumar, Trinamool Congress's Mamata Banerjee, National Conference's Farooq Abdullah will be present. Raut informed that the invitation for this meeting has also been given to NCP President Sharad Pawar. There is a dispute between Congress and AAP in Delhi and there is a possibility of a split in the alliance. Raut mentioned that the dispute will be settled.
