Will senior Congress leader Kripashankar Singh join BJP?

Amid the lack of stability in Maharashtra Congress, it is being speculated that senior party leader Kripashankar Singh may join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The assumptions were increased after Singh met BJP MLA Prasad Lad who is considered a close aide to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

After 2019 Lok Sabha elections, several Congress leaders have decided to shift their loyalties to the BJP. Opposition leader of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is also set to join the BJP.

Earlier, in the political circle, the discussions regarding Kripashankar Singh's shift to BJP and his disappointment with the Congress were being initiated. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same and the conversation between Singh and Lad has not been made public.
