Sewri- Congress carried out a rally in Sewri in protest to Khadi village and Industries Commission calendar, which projected PM Narendra Modi spinning the wheel. They shouted the slogans “Hitler shahi nahi chalegi nahi chalegi, Narendra Modi hay hay”. They also said that Modi should stop promoting himself, if not done so, they will fiercely protest. During this rally, Mumbai Congress leaders, women wing, yuva congress, and workers were present.
Mahatma Gandhi's picture weaving khadi on a simple charkha wearing his trademark cloth was replaced by Prime Minister Modi's picture in the same classic pose as that of the former.
