The credit war has begun between Shiv Sena and BJP leaders after chief minister Devendra Fadnavis made an announcement to provide permanent houses for slum-dwellers from Jogeshwari and SRA scheme for the Aarey residents.

City BJP president Ashish Shelar, while talking to the media persons, claimed that the BJP delegation had met the chief minister to solve this issue. Soon after that the office of Ravindra Waikar, minister of state for housing Ravindra Waikar issued a press release claiming that this decision to build houses for slum-dwellers at Mahul was taken in the meeting conducted by the ministry. The chief minister has directed the ministry officials to prepare a rehabilitation master plan for SRA scheme for tribal and non-tribal residents of Aarey.

Another press note in this regard came from the Information and Public Relation Directorate. All these attempts on the government front indicate credit war between the ruling alliance partners.
