Currency exchange: ‘Decision without arrangements’

Mumbai - Former chief minister and president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), Ashok Chavan, has criticised the Central government for scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes. He said that government has taken this decision without preparation due to which common people are facing various problems. Two people have died due to tension for exchange of currency notes. Central government is responsible for their deaths. Chavan was addressing a press conference here at Gandhi Bhavan. Some public representatives of NCP from Parbhani district also joined Congress party on Saturday at this occasion.
