Kandivali- “Demonetisation will rein in terrorism and drug trafficking,” according to union defence minister Manohar Parrikar. He also added that Kashmiri residents will not resort to pelting stones for Rs. 500 notes. Parrikar was speaking at a press conference in Kandivali. Parrikar was being felicitated for having helped to resolve the central ordinance depot issues faced by local residens, an issue that had been consistently highlighted by MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar. Along with BJP president and MLA Ashish Shelar and MP Gopal Shetty, MLA Yogesh Sagar, Dahisar MLA Manisha Chowdhary, MLA Pravin Darekar and MLA Bhai Girkar were present on the occasion.
