The Mumbaikar seems enthused to cast a vote and make a difference this time round.

The differently abled too have been spotted at various polling centres across the city since morning. 82 year old Vijaykumar Pandurang Sanzgiri, a Shivaji Park resident, is visually challenged and has only five per cent vision in both eyes. Sanzgiri has not skipped a single election in the last half century and more.

He turned up to cast his vote at ward 191's Balmohan Vidyamandir on Tuesday morning, accompanied by his sister. Sanzgiri said the elected representatives should pay more attention to civic amenities for those challenged, like better facilities at road crossings. His sister Jyotsna said polling booths should be located on the ground floors of centres for physically challenged voters.

Specially abled voters were also seen exercising their right to vote at Ghatkopar's Motilal Nagar.
