Wadala - PM Narendra Modi's demonetisation lead to the chaos among common people. In order to protest against the same, on 15th December, congress party workers of Naigaon and Wadala staged a protest outside the Wadala-Sewri railway station. They were holding placards and took signatures of the people. These placards appealed 'Do not suppress, but express your anger. Many residents came forward and signed to express their feelings. During this signature campaign, corporator Sunil More, Pallavi Mungekar, Rambachhan Murai, Mahendra Mungekar and others were also present.
