Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Eknath Khadse who recently switched sides to join the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) met with an accident on Sunday.
He shared the information on Twitter. In his tweet, he mentioned that he was on his way to Jalgaon from Amalner, when his car had a minor accident near Dharangaon. Luckily the speed of the car was not much and no one has been injured in this mishap.
आज अमळनेर हून जळगावकडे येतांना धरणगाव नजिक माझ्या गाडीला किरकोळ अपघात झाला. गाडी चा वेग कमी असल्याने आणी चालकाच्या प्रसंगावधाने आणी आपल्या सर्वांच्या आशीर्वादाने आम्ही सर्व सुखरूप आहोत. कोणालाही इजा झालेली नाही.

Eknath Khadse was travelling back to his hometown when a tyre of his vehicle burst. However, his driver was able to control the vehicle.
Khadse joined the NCP on October 23, Friday in the presence of Sharad Pawar. NCP President, Sharad Pawar, during the ceremony, passed a statement that no one in the party was offended by the joining of Eknath Khadse and the work in the party will not change either. He even mentioned that he has no doubt about Khadse's calibre and that his joining will only increase the strength of the NCP.
