Encounter Specialist Pradeep Sharma set to join Shiv Sena

According to sources, if Pradeep Sharma is inducted in Shiv Sena, he will contest the assembly polls from Nalasopara assembly constituency

Encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma is set to join Shiv Sena on Friday evening ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. The sources informed that if Sharma is inducted in the party, he is likely to contest the assembly polls from Nalasopara assembly constituency.

This comes after Pradeep Sharma resigned from the police force. Sharma served in the police department for 35 years. Currently, he is indulged in various types of social work through his NGO - PS Foundation.

The political speculations suggest that Sharma’s name is being proposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena alliance for the Nalasopara assembly constituency which is a non-Marathi dominated area.
