Worli- The Gopachar housing society and Worli local Abhijit Patil have joined forces to instal an effigy of suspected terrorist Hafiz Sayyed, using the occasion of New Year's eve to create awareness against terrorism.
The innovative way of marking the new year is in response to the number of young lives being claimed by terrorism every year at the country's borders. The society has appealed to citizens to register their opinions about the measures being taken to check terrorism. A banner has been put up next to the effigy for the same.
