Firing in Nawab Malik’s meeting

    Chembur – Sensation prevailed in political circle here as the incident of firing was reported in the meeting of NCP leader Nawab Malik who has alleged that another NCP leader and former MP Sanjay Dina Patil himself fired some rounds. This has brought to fore internal disputes in the NCP. According to information, a conclave of NCP workers was organised at Chembur. NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik was also present in the conclave. Meanwhile, seven to eight youths carrying pistols and swords entered the spot and started firing. All these youths were the supporters of Sanjay Dina Patil, alleged Malik. Malik has said that a complaint in this regard has been registered in Chembur police station. Sanjay Dina Patil was also carrying the guns and he even tried to shoot him. Many of the NCP workers sustained injuries in the incident, alleged Malik.

    Meanwhile, Sanjay Dina Patil refuted the allegations levied by Malik and said that he himself and his supporters were attacked by Malik’s supporters.
    If no action is taken against Patil, then party workers will get disappointed, said Malik.
